Hello! My name is David Korneliusson, and I'm from Sweden. Currently I'm a college student-athlete at Methodist University in North Carolina, USA. Studying Sport Management to be able to work with a soccer club after college. I play soccer and I enjoy crossfit! In this blog I will write mostly about my life in college and everything that's going on around that. Training will also be a big part. As well as other things like what I think of the future and what I wanna do with my life.

Week 3

This past week has been very interesting.
Early in the week I added a class that's not during schooltime, instead the class takes place on a trip, 1 week after graduation. We leave around May 20th and go to Florida where we board a cruise. The cruise takes us to a Island in Florida, then to Portugal, then to France and then to two places in Spain. At the same time as we travel, we're gonna study international business and see how businesses are different in other countries. The trip takes two weeks.
 
On Tuesday the Sport Management program organized a trip to Charlotte for us to watch the Bobcats game, which plays in the NBA. I got to see my first NBA game live and I got to see the city of Charlotte a little bit, the city is really nice, but we didn't have time to go around and look at it. During the warmup of the game, we got to sit on the second row so the players were really close. The person who took care of our group, from the Bobcats organization explained how she had made her way to be working in a professional club team (Bobcats). That was very interesting, because that's what I want to work with later on. She told us about her time in school, what she majored in, her internships and what's important to think about about when going into a sports job.
 
I had a presentation on Friday morning in marketing. It's always kind of nervous when doing a presentation but you always feel really good when it's done. After classes and training, our hall where I live went to the see the new movie, Ride Along. It's a movie with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. Those two were perfect together and the movie was hilarious. Kevin Hart was excellent.
 
On Sunday, Josh and me went back to Charlotte to see the city and walk around more. We went to a Sports Bar, had a good time there and when we were done seeing the city we went to Charlotte's University. I'm thinking about transferring there and Josh had friends there so we went in to campus and looked a little bit, it's a nice school and they have a good soccer team so it's possible that I go there for the fall. It's also close to the city of Charlotte which I liked a lot. It was beautiful with it's skyscrapers and nice areas
